Buffalo Sweat Oatmeal Cream Stout
If you only try one dark beer in your life, try a Buffalo Sweat. It will change your entire perception of how a stout should taste. Our secret is milk sugar. The creamy sweetness of the milk sugar is not lost in the brewing process and beautifully complements the copious copious quantities of the dark-roasted barley to create a medium-bodied beer that is rich, complex, and delicious with a definitive espresso-chocolate aroma and flavor.
Food Pairings: Try cooking with this beer. Think of it as reverence instead of sacrilege to make a great pan sauce reduction with Buffalo Sweat instead of only drinking the beer. A can of Buffalo Sweat added to juices and caramelized onions from roast beef and simmered into a reduced sauce yields layers of deep, satisfying flavor. The chocolate notes in the beer would pair well with roasted chocolate flavors in a chicken mole. Or try it with molasses-based sweet rich barbecue. For dessert, drink it with anything made with chocolate – fudge, cake, espresso brownies.
