Tallgrass History

Tallgrass Brewing Company was founded in 2007 with goal of bringing quality craft beers to the Midwest. Located near the Flint Hills in Manhattan, Kansas, Tallgrass now offers a full line of award-winning craft beers. In 2010 Tallgrass switched from bottles to 16 oz. cans. In 2015, Tallgrass moved into its new 60,000-square-foot brewing facility, tripling the capacity of its original facility and establishing it as a major regional brewery.

Our Taphouse

The Tallgrass Tap House, a 5,900-square-foot brewpub and full-service restaurant with seating for 280, is set to open in June 2015. With three separate bars, each with 20 taps, the Tap House will feature all Tallgrass brands, several new beers brewed on-site and guest taps from other breweries. Stay tuned to the  Tap House Facebook page for news and updates.
